Garden Rooms in Worcester & Worcestershire

Future Rooms specialises in building quality, functional garden rooms, garden buildings and home offices across Worcester and throughout Worcestershire. From ordering, rooms can be ready within four weeks.

Our Garden Rooms come in a selection of standard sizes or can be customised to meet specific project needs through our bespoke service. Our range includes eight distinct models, including the popular studio model, which is often used as a home office. Our solo model is our smallest option, with sizes starting at 2.5 m x 2.5 m.

You can choose various window and door configurations, and your room can be clad in Thermowood, British Cedar, Western Red cedar or Composite.

DIY Garden Rooms

Our DIY garden room kits are perfect for DIY enthusiasts and skilled installers to assemble.

Our self-build garden room kits are available in three options. The Shell Kit provides the insulated structural framework, giving you the flexibility to finish the room in your own way. The Shell & External Kit adds the external elements, including cladding, glazing, a breather membrane, cavity battens, an EPDM rubber roof kit, guttering and a downpipe. The Complete Kit includes the external package plus internal wall and ceiling finishes, flooring, trims and other finishing materials.

Small Studio in Evesham

This is one of our smaller classic garden rooms that we recently fitted in Evesham, Worcestershire.

The room is 3 m x 3.4 metres in size, manufactured from cedar wood and fully insulated. The client is using this garden building as a writing room for www.evseymour.co.uk.

A luxury studio garden room that we built for a family in Malvern. The build included French doors and was built using cedar wood. This room was to be used by the client for extra living space.

Delivery & Installation

Delivery to the county is free. We can confirm timescales at the time of ordering, and we also offer a collection service from our base in Upton upon Severn.

FAQs

Design, Build and Installation

Yes, all of our rooms are made to order and can be made in any size and specification required.

Yes. We very rarely build any two rooms that are exactly the same. You can choose from a range of standard and extra features to get the exact room you want.

Typically, rooms take seven days on site to complete. The panels are built in advance in our workshop, then the room is constructed and finished on site.

Most garden rooms will not require planning permission and will fall under Permitted Development rights. However, if you are unsure, please seek guidance from Worcestershire County Council Planning Authority.

We will install ground screw foundations on all installed rooms (unless a concrete base already exists or is to be provided separately)

Cedar and Thermowood cladding are maintenance-free. Tanalised Redwood will require treatment throughout its life.

All of our rooms come with UPVC glazing. The colours vary according to the range you choose. We can also offer upgrades to aluminium if required, and we frequently install variations of size and type of windows, including bi-fold doors, roof lights and half-height panels.

No. All of our rooms are installed ready for connection to mains electricity; however, you will need to arrange for the supply to be brought to the room. We can provide a quotation for this at an additional cost.

We are used to properties with challenging access and can ensure rooms are custom built in our workshop to accommodate this.

Warranty

Yes, all of our displayed prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.

All of our garden rooms come with a 10-year guarantee. This excludes storm or malicious damage.

Installed Rooms

  • £1,000 deposit to secure your order, build slot and installation date.
  • 45% of the total room cost is due 4 weeks before your agreed installation date (this amount includes the £1,000 deposit already paid).
  • 45% of the total room cost will be due for payment once the room is on site and being installed, usually on Day 3 of the installation.
  • 10% of the total room cost is payable when the room has been fully completed. This is usually 4 weeks following completion of the installation, giving time to allow your room to settle and any post-installation issues to be addressed. When the final payment has been received, we will issue all the relevant certification and guarantees.

Garden Room Kits

  • £1,000 deposit to secure your order, build slot and installation date.
  • 50% of the total room cost is due 4 weeks before your agreed delivery date (this amount includes the £1,000 deposit already paid).
  • 50% of the total room cost will be due 7 days prior to the delivery date

The Future Rooms guarantee means we will seek to remedy any defect or fault arising from materials or workmanship. The process and steps we will take are clearly set out in our Standard Terms and Conditions and our Future Rooms Guarantee.
