DIY Garden Rooms Cumbria

Future Rooms designs and supplies a stunning range of garden rooms which come in two options: installed or as DIY kits. Our garden room kits are straightforward to install for competent DIYers and contractors. Kits have a very short lead time, and we can arrange quick delivery. Our installed rooms are usually ready within 4 weeks before installation. These typically take 4-5 day to complete the installation.

All our garden rooms are made using SIPs for enhanced durability and great insulation. We have two insulation levels, the thickest of which is available in our premier version. With our DIY models, you can choose between a basic shell kit where you supply your own internal finishes and cladding. We also have the complete kit version, which has everything you need for a garden room or office.

Future Rooms has 8 distinct models available, the solo being our smallest and the studio version our most popular. You can choose from a vast range of sizes between 2.4 m x 3 m and 4 m x 6 m. If you require a bigger building, we also supply bespoke garden rooms. We supply four different cladding options; this includes British cedar, Western Red Cedar, composite and Thermowood.

The Studio is our most popular model. It is a versatile, bright and airy design to suit most leisure uses. This is perfect for use as a home office.

Executive

The Executive enhances any garden and is ideal for use as a home office, gym, hobby room, guest room or leisure space.

Diplomat

The Diplomat model has a stylish, glazed corner design to enjoy dual aspects from the inside to the outside.

Glevum

With glazing offset to one corner, the Glevum is efficient in terms of use of space. A stylish insulated garden room for year-round use.

Witcombe

The Witcombe garden room incorporates an apex roof and a stylish recessed front wall.

Solo

Small and stylish, our Premier Solo is the perfect addition to your garden to create a comfortable workspace at home.

Classic Haven

The Haven has a single opening door with glazed panels to either side make the front elevation sleek and clean, with lots of light into the room.

Metro

The metro model is a bright, contemporary and bold garden room, perfect for home office working and leisure use.

Home Workshops

We have designed our range of SIPs workshops to offer homeowners a choice of strong, insulated and secure buildings that are fit for purpose, for installation in a variety of locations and suitable for year-round use.

Our workshops are not large sheds but are robust, quality workshops that are built to last. Building with SIPs panels adds strength, insulation and durability into the walls, floor and roof.

We have three designs; one has a flat roof, and the other two have apex designs. These come in a variety of sizes from 3 m x 2.4 m x 2.5 m up to 5 m x 4 m x 2.5 m. These are great for hobbies, arts, crafts, machining or storage for garden machinery, including ride-on lawnmowers. If you wanted something bigger for business use, we have a range of commercial workshop kits designed for the purpose.

Completed Cumbria Garden Rooms

Studio Carlisle

Our customer required a bespoke made-to-measure DIY garden building with lots of natural light. The space they had required this room to be a specific size to fit in the back garden. The room they opted for was a studio made from cedar wood.

Guest Accommodation in the Lake District

We supplied a nice and large version of our DIY studio model for use as a rental property in the Lake District near to Keswick. The room was a bespoke size and included a bathroom, kitchenette, and a bedroom to accommodate a double bed. The garden room used our premium SIP panels to ensure warmth throughout the winter.

5x3m Studio

This is a completed 5m x 3m studio garden building in Cumbria that we installed. We clad this room in cedar timber, and it looks great.
