Insulated Garden Rooms Oxfordshire

Future Rooms sells and installs garden rooms and offices in Oxford and throughout Oxfordshire. Installed Rooms can be ready withinas little as four weeks so no long waits for you to enjoy your new space. Experienced installation teams will handle all the on-site assembly, including ground screw foundations (excluding connections to services). Most of our garden rooms can be completed within four to five days on site except for some of the larger bespoke buildings.

Our garden rooms are available in 8 designs, each catering to different needs. The Studio model has large glazed panels for a bright and open feel. The Executive is spacious and stylish, ideal for offices, home gyms, or an extra guest room. The Diplomat has corner glazing design, thus is ideal for for panoramic views. The Solo is a small, one-person space with full-height front glazing.

DIY Garden Room Kits

Future Rooms’ DIY garden-room kits arrive as precision-cut SIP panels that slot together in a matter of hours, creating an airtight, highly insulated shell backed by a ten-year guarantee. Two specifications keep choices simple:Premier kits use 122 mm panels for maximum thermal performance, while Classic kits employ 97 mm panels for a more economical build; both are suited to year-round use.

Each kit is sold in two build stages—Shell or Complete—so you decide how much finishing work to take on. Standard packs include fixings, drawings and video instructions, and you can upgrade cladding, glazing and doors to match your style. The result is a strong, energy-efficient extra room that confident DIYers can erect quickly without the disruption of a traditional extension.

The Witcombe garden room incorporates an apex roof and a stylish recessed front wall.

Solo

Small and stylish, our Premier Solo is the perfect addition to your garden to create a comfortable workspace at home.

Classic Haven

The Haven has a single opening door with glazed panels to either side make the front elevation sleek and clean, with lots of light into the room.

Metro

The metro model is a bright, contemporary and bold garden room, perfect for home office working and leisure use.

Home Workshops

We also supply specialist self-build garden buildings in Oxford and Oxfordshire, including garden workshops. We have designed our range of superior-build workshops, which are strong, insulated and secure. Future Rooms designed these to be fit for purpose and suitable for a variety of spaces.

Our workshop kits are robust, quality workshops that are built to last, with strength and durability built into their walls, floor and roof. All of our prefabricated workshops are insulated with SIPs, so they are good for year-round use.

They are designed to be installed on concrete or strong paved areas and thus can safely accommodate ride-on lawnmowers, motorbikes, workbenches and machinery.

Future Rooms has 3 base models for which you can choose various configurations, sizes and cladding finishes. Alternatively, if you needed something a bit bigger for a business, we also sell commercial workshop kits.

Completed Buildings

Insulated Garden Room Oxford

This is a studio model garden building that we build for a customer in Didcot. We made this one with cedar. It has sliding doors and small windows on the end walls for more light. The customer intended this for use as an office for a small business.

Garden Office Pod Oxford

We built a cedar garden pod for a family in the Jericho area of the city. This one was a fully decorated standard model that was fully insulated with sip panels. For this build we used ground screw foundations and for the floor we used commercial grade laminate flooring. For this install, the size required was 6m x4m our largest standard model. This customer intended to use the room as a study and games room for the family’s children.

This is a completed DIY Executive workshop that a client built for their home in Wantage.
