Future Rooms builds insulated, year-round garden rooms and garden offices throughout Scotland, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. Built using SIPs, our rooms are designed for strong thermal performance and quick on-site installation, with most installs completed in around four to five days.

We have eight models, which come in various sizes and cladding finishes. The Studio, with large front glazing, is our most popular design. If space is tighter, our Solo model is our smallest at 2.5 m x 2.5 m. Our Executive model has a deep front canopy for shade and a premium feel. The Diplomat features clean lines with a full-width overhang and wide glazing for natural light. Glevum blends classic proportions with contemporary detailing, ideal for studios, gyms, or guest spaces.

DIY Garden Room Kits

Future Rooms supplies a range of stunning self-build garden rooms tailored for DIY enthusiasts and skilled installers across Scotland. These come in three options: the shell kit, which is the shell with insulation, which you can customise; the shell and external kit, which includes external finishes, doors and windows; The other option is the complete kit, which has all you need for a complete garden room. You can choose two insulation types with the complete kit.

Each garden room is built with SIPs and delivers exceptional thermal efficiency and airtightness, requiring minimal assembly on site. With a sleek, modern finish, these garden rooms are built to maintain their high performance year after year.

The Diplomat model has a stylish, glazed corner design to enjoy dual aspects from the inside to the outside.

Glevum

With glazing offset to one corner, the Glevum is efficient in terms of use of space. A stylish insulated garden room for year-round use.

The Witcombe garden room incorporates an apex roof and a stylish recessed front wall.

Solo

Small and stylish, our Premier Solo is the perfect addition to your garden to create a comfortable workspace at home.

Classic Haven

The Haven has a single opening door with glazed panels to either side, making the front elevation sleek and clean, with lots of light into the room.

Metro

The Metro model is a bright, contemporary and bold garden room, perfect for home office working and leisure use.

Garden Office Pod in Galashiels

We supplied a thermowood metro model for a client in the Scottish Borders. They fully insulated this build with all the standard options. This building was to be used as a home office for the client’s advertising business.

Music Room in Glasgow

A client needed a music practice room and studio to house a few people to play instruments and a desk area for editing. The client selected the 5x4 m DIY studio model because of the design and window configuration. Cedar was the cladding finish of choice for this build with French-style doors and commercial-grade flooring.

DIY Studio in Edinburgh

This is the end result of a self-build garden building that a customer built in Edinburgh. They made it using one of our 3 x 3 m studio kits.
