Insulated Garden Hobby Rooms for Year-Round Use

A garden hobby room gives you dedicated space for projects, collections and regular activities without taking over a spare bedroom, dining table or other space inside the house.

Our garden rooms are built using structural insulated panels (SIPs), creating an insulated building for regular use throughout the year. They can be arranged around tables, shelving, storage, seating or equipment depending on the hobby and the amount of space you need.

Choose from our Premier and Classic garden room ranges, with bespoke options available across the Premier range. Buildings can be supplied fully installed or as DIY garden hobby room kits for customers who prefer a self-build option.

A Dedicated Garden Hobby Room

A garden hobby room gives you somewhere to keep projects, collections and equipment organised without taking over space inside the house.

It can be adapted for model making, model railways, puzzles, reading, collecting and other hobbies that benefit from their own dedicated room. The layout can be planned around work surfaces, shelving, display cabinets, seating and storage, with larger Premier rooms available where you need more floor space.

Additional windows and doors are also available on our Premier models and can be selected and positioned using our 3D Configurator.

Hobby Room, Creative Studio or Home Workshop?

Our garden rooms can be adapted for many different uses, but some activities are better suited to our other dedicated pages.

For painting, music, crafts and other creative work, see our Creative Garden Studios. For heavier practical projects involving larger tools, machinery, substantial workbenches or secure equipment storage, our Home Workshops are a better fit.

A hobby room is aimed more towards personal projects, collections and activities that need a comfortable, insulated room of their own.
