Classic Diplomat with Thermowood Cladding and Sedum Roof

Classic Diplomat

This Classic Diplomat garden room was installed in Corse Lawn, Gloucestershire.

The room was 5m x 3m and finished with Thermowood cladding to all walls. The front included French doors with two side screens, giving the customer a bright entrance and a clear view out to the garden.

A steel corner post was included in the design, along with a full-height side window. This added more natural light from the side elevation and gave the Diplomat a more open feel inside.

The customer also chose a sedum roof. Extra strengthening was incorporated into the design to support the additional weight and make sure the roof was suitable for the finish.

The completed room gives the customer a well-specified garden building with Thermowood cladding, generous glazing and a sedum roof designed into the structure from the start.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and all the team who installed our garden office at the end of November. I was delighted that EVERYONE from the crew who did the initial build (in just two days!), to the plasterer (a true "old school " artisan!) and the electrician and painting team were absolutely amazing, VERY professional, cheerful, quick and left the site very tidy indeed! I really appreciated their flexibility and attention to detail too.
