If space is limited, a well-designed compact garden room can still give you a bright, practical and fully insulated extra room. Our smallest models are designed for small gardens and narrow plots, making them ideal for a small garden office, hobby room or snug.

Several of our compact garden rooms are under 10 m², making them suitable for smaller gardens where every metre matters. The Solo Standard is our smallest model at 2.5 m x 2.5 m, giving it a 6.25 m² footprint. The Solo Corner starts at 2.5 m x 2.5 m, while the Studio, Metro, Haven and Executive all start at 3 m x 2.5 m.

All sizes shown are external sizes. Bespoke sizes are also available if your garden is narrow, awkwardly shaped or limited by boundaries.

Our smaller garden rooms have the same features and build quality as our larger models. All of our contemporary garden rooms are built to order, with optional bespoke features available.

Our smallest model is the Solo Standard, starting from a 2.5 m x 2.5 m external size. The Solo Corner offers a compact dual-aspect alternative, starting at 2.5 m x 2.5 m. The Studio, Executive, Metro and Haven all start at 3 m x 2.5 m.

Shell External Solo

The Solo Standard: External Size From 2.5 m x 2.5 m

The Solo Standard is our smallest garden room and is designed as a comfortable one-person office or compact studio. Its simple cube-shaped footprint makes good use of limited garden space while still giving you a fully insulated room for year-round use.

It starts at 2.5 m x 2.5 m externally, with 2.8 m x 2.5 m and 2.8 m x 2.8 m sizes also available. The Solo Standard is part of our Premier range, with a choice of cladding and upgrade options.

The Solo Corner: External Size From 2.5 m x 2.5 m

The Solo Corner is another compact one-person garden room, with a glazing layout designed to make the most of two elevations. The doors sit across the corner, with landscape glazing continuing around the building to create a bright dual-aspect workspace.

Starting at 2.5 m x 2.5 m externally, with a compact footprint. Like the Solo Standard, it is available in our Premier specification with a choice of cladding and optional upgrades.

Studio

The Studio: External Size From 3 m x 2.5 m

The Studio is our best-selling garden room and starts at a compact 3 m x 2.5 m external size. Glazing spans most of the front elevation, bringing plenty of natural light into the room and making the smaller sizes particularly well suited to a garden office, hobby room or creative space.

The Studio is available in both Premier and fixed-spec Classic versions. Premier gives you a wider choice of cladding and upgrade options, while Classic offers a simpler specification in selected standard sizes.

Executive Garden Room

The Executive: External Size From 3 m x 2.5 m

The Executive has a recessed front elevation, decked step and generous glazing, giving it a contemporary look even at the smaller 3 m x 2.5 m size. It suits a compact office or studio, with larger sizes available if you need space for storage, seating or client meetings.

Both Premier and fixed-spec Classic versions are available. The Premier Executive also gives you more choice over finishes and upgrades.

Metro Garden Room

The Metro: External Size From 3 m x 2.5 m

The Metro has a bold modern frontage, with feature cladding around the doors and fascia. French doors sit to one side, with a full-height glazed panel on the other, helping the room feel bright without taking up extra garden space.

For compact plots, the Metro starts at 3 m x 2.5 m externally and is available in both Premier and fixed-spec Classic versions. Premier rooms offer a wider choice of cladding and upgrades, while DIY versions are available through Future SIPs.

Classic Haven

The Haven: External Size From 3 m x 2.5 m

The Haven has an angular front elevation and diagonal roof overhang, giving a smaller garden room a more distinctive shape. A single opening door with glazed panels on either side keeps the frontage balanced and brings plenty of natural light into the room.

The smallest Haven starts at 3 m x 2.5 m externally. It is available in both Premier and fixed-spec Classic versions, making it a practical option for a compact office, hobby room or extra space in the garden.
