Future Rooms Premier Studio Garden Room on BBC’s DIY SOS
When Future Rooms took a call from the BBC’s DIY SOS team, asking if we could help a Huntingdon family with a scheme to transform a home, we had no hesitation in saying yes. As long-term fans of the programme, we were keen to get involved.
When we received the call asking if we could supply a garden room for the Cambridgeshire renovation, it delighted us to assist. The project extended a family home for a lady who had committed to providing a home for the five children of her terminally ill best friend. It would be impossible to refuse such a request and we hope that our small contribution helped this lovely family. Our garden room is providing additional space for the family and will specifically be used by the eldest boy when he returns home from University.
The programme was filmed in spring 2012 and was aired on BBC1 for the first time this month. Future Rooms provided a Premier Studio Garden Room for the project in cedar cladding. We would like to thank all the suppliers that kindly donated materials for the room.
