Installed Garden Rooms

Future Rooms builds insulated, year-round garden rooms throughout Essex, including in Chelmsford, Colchester and Southend-on-Sea. These are built with 122 mm SIPs for excellent insulation. Teams handle ground-screw foundations and on-site assembly; most installs finish in four to five days. Standard spec includes UPVC glazing, an EPDM roof, guttering, laminate flooring, trim, LED lighting, and a fuseboard. Cladding options include Thermowood, British Cedar, Western Red Cedar, or composite.

Our Executive model has a deep front canopy for shade and a premium feel. The Diplomat features clean lines with a full-width overhang and wide glazing for natural light. Glevum blends classic proportions with contemporary detailing, ideal for studios, gyms, or guest spaces.

DIY Garden Rooms

We manufacture and supply a range of top-quality insulated DIY garden room kits. Our self-build garden room kits come in two variations:

Shell Kit, which provides an insulated structural framework for full customisation.
Complete Kit, which offers pre-finished walls for a budget-friendly, easy-to-assemble solution.

Our garden rooms are available in eight distinct designs and a variety of sizes, from small 2.5 x 2.5 m models. The Studio Garden Room Kit has large glazed panels for a bright and open feel inside. The Executive model is spacious and stylish, ideal for use as an office, gym, or guest room. The Diplomat has a unique corner glazing design for panoramic views of your garden. The Solo Kit is our smallest model and is ideal as a one-person garden office.

Garden Pod Basildon

We recently constructed a premier model Garden Pod for a client at their home near Basildon. We built his pod from cedar, and the room is also fully insulated. The customer earmarked this garden pod for use as a study and playroom for the family’s children.

Bespoke Studio Colchester

A photographer required a room that must have good levels of natural sunlight, a vital ingredient for a great photography studio. The room was to blend into the garden with the help of a landscape gardener after the installation. This client opted for a bespoke version of the studio garden room, which has brilliant light to start with but with additional windows at either end. The room also included space for a work desk, a table for meetings, and storage space for equipment. The building was of our standard range that is insulated and has laminate flooring. We fully decorated the interior.

Home Gym & Sauna

This is the end result of a self-build garden room that a customer assembled at their home in Essex. The kit was a Studio model, and its size was 8.6 x 6 m. This customer purchased the building to be used as a multifunctional space, including a gym, sauna and some extra storage space.
